American President Donal Trump said that the new E.O that was on the way to be implements from 3rd of March was challeged leagally in Some States. The 2nd Executive Order was published banning 6 country people from entering in to the USA with some key changes from the first version.
U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson in Honolulu on Wednesday ordered an emergency halt to Trump's executive order that aimed to temporarily bar entry to the United States of most refugees as well as travelers from six Muslim-majority countries. The halt is temporary.
On Wednesday a federal judge in Hawaii after hearing arguments that the executive order discriminates on the basis of nationality. Lawyers argued to block the executive order as that targets people from six predominantly Muslim countries. Nearly half a dozen states are trying to block the ban.
U.S. District Court Judge Derrick Watson decision prevents the executive order from going into effect, at least for now, while Hawaii had requested a temporary restraining order.
Hawaii also argued that the ban would prevent residents from receiving visits from relatives in the six countries covered by the order. The state says the ban would harm its tourism industry and the ability to recruit foreign students and workers.
In Maryland, attorneys told a federal judge that the measure still discriminates against the Muslims.
Trump responded to the ruling during a rally on Wednesday. "This ruling makes us look weak, which by the way we no longer are, believe me," Trump said, vowing to "fight this terrible ruling." The president called the current order a "watered down" version of the first, potentially suggesting that they had the same intent.
