Can I attend my U.S visa interview?

At this time, USA visa applicants are advised NOT to attend their interview as appointments have been cancelled. Applicants should NOT travel to the consulate in other countries at this time. All visa processing is on hold until further notice.

I have valid USA visa. Can I use it?

If you are a national of Yemen, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, Syria or Libya, your visa had been cancelled and is not valid for travel to the USA.

Dual Citizen holders from any of these countries.

If you had received a visa in a passport other than one of these nationalities, but hold one of these citizenships as well, you will not be able to travel. At this time, we do not know if and when your visa will be able to be renewed.

Am I eligible to receive a waiver (an exemption to this ban)?

At this time, applicants, visa holders and LPRs with Yemeni, Iranian, Iraqi, Somali, Sudanese, Syrian or Libyan are advised to contact DHS regarding waivers.

Can LPRs who are also citizens of these nationalities travel to the United States?

Currently, US, Customs and Border Patrol is issuing waivers to U.S. Permanent Residents upon arrival to the United States. Please note that the situation is fluctuating every day and that for the most current and accurate information, we advise applicants to contact DHS.

I am a dual citizen. Can I travel to the United States?
